Characters in films

These films include characters from under-represented groups, but do not focus on equality issues.

28 Days Later (2002) Director: Danny Boyle
The fact that Selena, a key character, is black is incidental to the story.

Dear Frankie (2004) Director: Shona Auerbach
Frankie is a nine-year-old deaf boy, but his deafness is not central to the plot.

The Full Monty ( 1997) Director: Peter Cattaneo
The film includes two gay characters, but the film does not portray their sexuality as an issue.
