The pages which follow contain case studies on some of the people who benefited from the projects which formed part of the Audio Visual Entrepreneurship Development Programme (AVEDP)

 

Ann Carrington - took part in the Technical Change  Mentoring Scheme and now making progress as a freelance Director of Photography, an area where women are very under-represented.

 

Dhruti Shah - took part in the Move On Up in News with the BBC which enabled her to make the contacts she needed to make progress in her chosen career.

 

Nikki Fox - Was placed on Channel 4's Researcher Trainee Programme for Disabled People which was a mixture of supported work placement and strategic training. She now works as a permanent researcher.

 

Phil Basi - Having been madre redundant by ITV's move from Nottingham to  Birmingham, he took part in Move On Up and was able to make the necessary contacts to secure new commissions and continue his career.

 

Suhan Razzaque - Secured a place on the Skillset Graduate Fellowship Programme which helped him to  securing a permanent job as a Regional Press Assistant in his chosen field of film promotion.
